[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] The Central Disease Control Headquarters (CDCH) announced on the 15th that a total of 135 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were detected at temporary screening clinics across the Seoul metropolitan area and nationwide the previous day.
By region, there were 71 cases in Seoul, 48 in Gyeonggi, 9 in Ulsan, 3 each in Gwangju and Chungnam, and 1 in Incheon, with 120 cases confirmed in the metropolitan area and 15 cases outside the metropolitan area.

The 120 confirmed cases at metropolitan screening clinics account for 18.2% of the 661 newly confirmed local cases as of midnight that day. Compared to the 437 local cases in the metropolitan area, they represent 27.5%.
