Seoul National University Professor Jo Younghwan's Lecture on 'Understanding and Development Plans for Blended Learning'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seok-jun) will hold an online special lecture titled "Busan-style Blended Learning and Future Education" at 3 p.m. on the 14th for about 1,000 participants including teachers and local government officials in the Busan area.
The special lecture is part of the Busan-style Blended Learning activation project, which has been implemented by the Busan Office of Education since June 2020, the first of its kind nationwide.
On this day, Professor Cho Young-hwan from the Department of Education at Seoul National University will give a lecture on the theme "Understanding and Development Plans for Blended Learning."
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education and the TELD Laboratory of Seoul National University College of Education conducted a policy review of the Busan-style Blended Learning activation project in April by participating in blended classroom lessons at Mangmi Elementary School, Baesan Elementary School, Deokcheon Middle School, Dongsuyeong Middle School, Geumjeong High School, and Yangjeong High School.
Professor Cho Young-hwan said, "Compared to other regions, the Busan Office of Education is preparing for future education with very fast and clear goals," and added, "I expect this special lecture to be very helpful for the Busan Office of Education in preparing for future education."

Superintendent Kim Seok-jun stated, "Our Office of Education is promoting the Busan-style Blended Learning activation project to prepare for various disaster situations and to foster student-centered classroom learning," and added, "We will strengthen students' learning autonomy through online learning resources and blended classrooms."
