Gyeongnam Province Successfully Concludes Resident Design Workshop Supporting Apartment Shared Space Creation
Conducted over two days, June 6-7, targeting 5 apartment complexes
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do successfully completed a resident design workshop for preliminary candidate sites of the 'Apartment Community Shared Space Creation Support Project,' which received applications from March 29 to April 2.
At the resident design workshop, apartment residents, provincial public architects, and community cooperation supporters from the Provincial Village Community Support Center gathered to discuss methods for creating shared spaces.
The workshop was held over two days, from the 6th to the 7th, at five planned apartment shared space sites.
The 'Apartment Community Shared Space Creation Support Project,' organized by the Gyeongnam Social Innovation Promotion Team, supports the creation of shared spaces for apartment residents in unused apartment areas.
Selected apartments receive up to 40 million KRW for design, construction, and supervision costs.
The province held a preliminary selection committee on the 22nd of last month and selected five preliminary candidate sites.

Based on the resident design workshop and considerations of similar or overlapping support from other subsidies, the final project sites will be selected in May.
