Regarding the meeting theme of 'Housing Finance and the Housing Ladder,' he said, "It is regrettable that unintended disadvantages have occurred to young people and early-career workers in the process of managing household debt within a certain level," and added, "Let's discuss ways to minimize disadvantages for the youth."
In response, the youth special committee members suggested, "We hope the meeting will be operated substantively rather than as a mere show." They also said regarding the theme of housing finance and the housing ladder, "Active support is needed so that young people can focus on preparing for the future, such as studies and employment, without worries," and requested, "Please partially ease loan regulations for the non-homeowners and low-income real demanders."
The FSC household debt officer replied that they are continuing many policy considerations between the need to manage household debt and the voices from the field expressing housing insecurity. He added, "While reviewing loan regulations, we will do our best to alleviate housing insecurity among young people."
