The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission announced on the 13th that it held a plenary meeting on the 26th of last month and awarded a total of 337.98 million KRW to six whistleblowers reporting corruption and public interest violations. A reward of 20 million KRW was given to a person who reported a social welfare corporation that misused sponsorship funds, and a compensation of 3 million KRW was given to a person who reported a construction company that subcontracted construction work to an unqualified party without construction business registration.
