Scholarship Award Ceremony for Outstanding Vocational Education Talents Held on the 13th
On the 13th, at the joint scholarship award ceremony held by the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology and the Ministry of Education, Chairman Kim Hak-do is giving a speech.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 13th that, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Yoo Eun-hye), it selected 34 outstanding vocational education students who will lead regional industrial innovation and awarded scholarships to them.
SBC and the Ministry of Education joined forces to support the government's policy of regional industrial innovation and balanced regional development by nurturing local talent, including students majoring in key regional industries. SBC selected a total of 34 scholarship recipients, two from each of the 17 regions nationwide, based on recommendations from the Ministry of Education, and awarded each student a scholarship of 1 million KRW funded through initiatives such as 'salary rounding.' Additionally, one-on-one mentoring, including career counseling, will be provided through matching with employees from SBC and regional innovation organizations such as Technoparks.

Chairman Kim Hak-do stated, "SBC is promoting various talent development projects to nurture future talents, including specialized high schools, small and medium enterprise contract departments, and technical cadet programs," and added, "We will be a strong supporter so that the 34 SBC scholarship students gathered today can freely demonstrate their abilities and dreams and grow into key talents who will lead regional industrial innovation and the future of our country."
