[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) awarded the Mayor's Commendation to a total of 15 individuals, including exemplary filial piety recipients and honorable parents, at the district office auditorium on the 7th in celebration of the 49th Parents' Day.
Among the 'exemplary filial piety recipients,' 14 individuals were selected who respect their parents' wishes, base their lives on filial piety to create harmonious families, and honor their elders with sincerity and proper etiquette.
For the 'honorable parent' category, one individual was selected who has contributed to the development of the local community by raising grandchildren and children healthily and soundly, establishing a model and healthy family that serves as an example to others.
