20 COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Gyeongnam Province
5 People Each from Changwon and Gimhae, 4 Each from Jinju and Sacheon, 1 Each from Yangsan and Hadong
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Sharon] Gyeongnam Province announced on the 8th that 20 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) were reported after 5 p.m. the previous day.
By region, there were 5 each in Changwon and Gimhae, 4 each in Jinju and Sacheon, and 1 each in Yangsan and Hadong.
Among the total confirmed cases, 12 had contact with confirmed cases within the province.
In addition, 2 more cases related to entertainment establishments in Sacheon were reported, bringing the cumulative total to 55.
One additional case was reported each related to a church in Jinju and a food factory in Tongyeong.
One confirmed case in Hadong is a coworker of a confirmed case from another region.
Three cases, one each in Changwon, Gimhae, and Yangsan, have unclear infection routes.
