Through this agreement, Nonghyup Bank will offer a 0.1% point interest rate discount on credit loans starting from the 10th of this month to individuals who have joined the 'Carbon Point System'. In the future, the bank plans to expand financial benefits to include deposit interest rates and preferential exchange rates.

The 'Carbon Point System' is a nationwide greenhouse gas reduction program promoted by the government. Individuals such as household heads can apply to participate and receive points based on their reduction achievements in electricity, gas, and water usage at homes or apartment complexes. These points can later be redeemed for incentives such as cash or gift certificates.
