Gwangju Seo-gu, Additional Recruitment for Local Vitality Plus Job Project Participants

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Daeseok) announced on the 4th that it will additionally recruit participants for the Regional Vitality Plus Job Project.
Although the deadline was last month on the 9th, a total of 41 people will be recruited to fill the remaining vacancies.
The projects for additional recruitment are ▲‘Hello, Seo-gu!’ Welfare Blind Spot Discovery ▲Road Lighting DB Construction ▲Youth Administrative Intern Project, totaling three projects.
Eligibility includes those with a median income of 65% or less, female heads of households and other vulnerable employment groups, as well as those unemployed or closed due to COVID-19.
Applicants can visit the administrative welfare center in their jurisdiction or the Seo-gu Office 1st floor Job Center with their ID card by the 7th to apply.
Residents selected for the Regional Vitality Plus Job Project will receive a wage of 8,720 KRW per hour, approximately 1 million KRW per month (based on 4 hours of work), and will be enrolled in the four major social insurances.
Meanwhile, the Regional Vitality Plus Job Project is a project reflected in the government’s supplementary budget and is a public job project for vulnerable groups promoted by local governments to overcome the COVID-19 crisis.
