60-Year-Old Man Given Probation for Assaulting Taxi Driver Over "Did Not Play Na Hoon-a's Song" Claim

According to the legal community on the 4th, Han Kyung-hwan, Chief Judge of Criminal Division 2 at the Seoul Western District Court, sentenced Kim Mo (65), who was charged with violating the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes (assaulting a driver, etc.), to 4 months in prison with a 1-year suspension. He was also ordered to attend 40 hours of violence treatment lectures.
On December 24th last year, around 8:30 p.m., Kim, intoxicated, took a taxi driven by A at Pihajae. He verbally abused A, the taxi driver, asking "Why don't you play Na Hoon-a's songs?" and assaulted him by hitting his shoulder twice with his fist.
