Sancheong Cultural Center Operates 'Feel the Sancheong Soil JomolRak ManjiJak'
Selected for the Ministry of Culture's Senior Cultural Program Contest for 2 Consecutive Years
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Sancheong Cultural Center in Gyeongnam announced on the 3rd that it has been selected for the senior cultural program contest project conducted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Cultural Center Association for two consecutive years.
With this selection, the Sancheong Cultural Center will operate the ceramic craft program "Feeling Sancheong Soil, Jomol樂 Manji作" again this year, following last year.
This program will run from May to early November, and a exhibition featuring works created by members is planned for mid-November.
The ceramic craft program not only helps improve the concentration and creativity of participating seniors but also holds significance in promoting the excellence of Sancheong soil by using the local kaolin clay from the Sancheong region.
