[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] The National Police Agency announced on the 3rd that it will hold the "9th Scientific Investigation Idea Contest" to discover new scientific investigation techniques.
Now in its ninth year, the contest has established itself as a platform not only for discovering scientific investigation techniques but also for gathering perspectives on the development of scientific investigation from both the field and the public.
This year's contest themes are ideas related to "techniques and equipment" in scientific investigation and "public safety." Notably, the public safety category is newly added this year, aiming to discover ideas that contribute to public safety by utilizing scientific investigation or scientific knowledge.
The submission period is open until July 31, and anyone interested can participate. Among the submitted ideas, 16 outstanding works will be selected through expert review and awarded certificates from the Commissioner of the National Police Agency along with prizes.
