Kim Tae-in, Inhu Elementary School Steering Committee Chair, Elected as the 24th President of Jeonju City School Steering Committee Association
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Kim Tae-in, the chairperson of the Jeonju Inhu Elementary School Operation Committee, has been elected as the 24th president of the Jeonju City School Operation Committee Chairpersons Association.
The Jeonju City School Operation Committee Chairpersons Association announced on the 2nd that it held a regular general meeting on the 30th of last month with about 90 school operation committee chairpersons from the Jeonju area attending, and elected Kim Tae-in as the new association president.
Emphasizing "Happy Our School through Realization of School Autonomy," the new president Kim proposed three pledges that stimulated the votes of the operation committee chairpersons: ▲ publishing a newsletter to provide a space for information sharing and communication among members of the Jeonju City School Operation Committee Chairpersons Association ▲ establishing scholarships to improve students' educational environment ▲ holding meetings to enact ordinances related to the establishment and support of the association.
New president Kim Tae-in said, "Whenever I visit schools, I want to see the educational environment beautifully transformed, teachers devoted to educational activities with bright and hopeful expressions, and children living with pride and a sense of accomplishment," adding, "At this time when face-to-face relationships are difficult due to COVID-19, I will find the best possible ways to cope."
From this month until April next year, Kim Tae-in will lead the Jeonju City School Operation Committee Chairpersons Association. Re-election is also possible.

Meanwhile, new president Kim Tae-in previously served as a director of the Jeonju City School Operation Committee Chairpersons Association from 2018 to 2019 and as vice president of the association from 2019 to 2021.
