Seongbuk-gu Awards Model Public Officials (Sanitation Workers) in Commemoration of Labor Day
11 Exemplary Public Officials Quietly Working in Difficult and Challenging Places Selected
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) presented certificates of commendation to 11 exemplary public workers (environmental cleaners) on the 29th of last month in celebration of Labor Day 2021, expressing gratitude.
The recipients of the commendation included 5 exemplary public workers directly managed by the district office who perform street cleaning and recycling collection duties, as well as 6 exemplary environmental cleaners from subcontracted household waste collection companies.
Lee Seung-ro, Mayor of Seongbuk-gu, stated, “Despite difficult conditions, you have faithfully carried out your duties and taken the lead in keeping Seongbuk clean. In particular, I thank you for actively participating in creating a clean living environment and contributing to ‘Closer Neighbors, More Comfortable Neighborhoods, and a Happy Seongbuk.’”
