65 New COVID-19 Cases in Gyeongnam... Small-Scale Cluster Infection at Food Factory in Yangsan

Most are local infections from contact with existing confirmed cases, including small cluster infections. By region, there are 23 cases in Sacheon, 17 in Yangsan, 16 in Jinju, 5 in Gimhae, 2 in Changwon, and 1 each in Hamyang and Geochang.
Among the Sacheon cases, 11 are related to local entertainment establishments. These include workers or visitors of entertainment venues and their contacts. The cumulative number of confirmed cases related to Sacheon entertainment establishments has reached 23.
Among the Yangsan cases, 11 are linked to a local food factory. After one factory worker was first confirmed positive the previous day, 11 additional cases among workers and their families were identified. Health authorities have closed the factory and are conducting an in-depth epidemiological investigation.
