Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Supports 180 Children with Children's Day Gift Kits
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 30th that it will provide gift kits to all 180 Dream Start children in celebration of the upcoming Children's Day.
This gift kit support was prepared to encourage Dream Start children who spend a lot of time at home, as most Children's Day events were canceled due to the worsening COVID-19 situation.
To prepare the gift kits, seven companies (Ocean Tech Gift, Daekyo Noon Nopi Education Love Volunteer Group, Samryeok Industrial, Rodemnamu, Hanaro Furniture, Unhwa Communication, Dahee Construction) joined forces to donate 4.95 million won.
Gwangsan-gu plans to provide a gift kit called "My Own Airplane Clock" so that children and parents can enjoy fun time together with home-stay play activities.
The gift kits will be delivered contactlessly to each household from today until the 4th of next month.
