The Geumcheon Police Station in Seoul announced on the 30th that they have booked a man in his 50s, identified as A, on charges of trespassing and quasi-rape.
A was apprehended on the 2nd of this month on suspicion of breaking into a multi-family house in Geumcheon-gu on the 27th of last month and sexually assaulting the victim. Analysis of nearby closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage revealed that A had broken into the victim’s home multiple times during the week prior to the crime. It is reported that A has an intellectual disability.
