Mokpo Maritime University Signs Industry-Academic Cooperation Agreement with Korea Made Co., Ltd.
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Mokpo National Maritime University (President Park Seong-hyun) announced on the 30th that it signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with Korea Made Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Jong-geun) for sharing shipbuilding technology at 11 a.m. on the 28th in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the university headquarters.
This agreement, conducted in compliance with COVID-19 prevention guidelines, was established to build a marine sector network through cooperation with local companies and to nurture specialized personnel leading to employment.
The main points of the agreement signed today include establishing an industry-academic cooperation model through field visits and participation of professors and students, fostering customized talent linked to the local community and supporting practical training, cooperating to activate employment, and exchanging information on shipbuilding technology.
Through this agreement, both institutions plan to share shipbuilding technology and jointly utilize educational resources to build infrastructure for nurturing specialized talent in the shipbuilding field.
