Korea National Health Insurance Service Bukyeong Headquarters Donates 12.5 Million Won to Ulsan City's 'Out-of-School Youth'
Providing Learning Opportunities through Support for Education Expenses such as Certification Acquisition and Qualification Exams
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service generously donated 12.5 million won for out-of-school youth in Ulsan.
On the afternoon of the 28th at Ulsan City Hall, Jang Su-mok, head of the Busan-Gyeongnam Headquarters of the NHIS, handed over the sponsorship fund to Jang Su-wan, Deputy Mayor of Ulsan City, requesting that it be used for the "Out-of-School Youth Dream" project.
The donation will be used through the Ulsan Out-of-School Youth Support Center to assist out-of-school youth facing economic difficulties with expenses for obtaining certifications and educational costs necessary for their studies.
After the donation ceremony, Head Jang Su-mok said, "I hope that out-of-school youth will not be excluded from educational welfare," and added, "We will continue to consider ways to help them grow into healthy members of society."
The Busan-Gyeongnam Headquarters of the NHIS has been promoting educational expense support for out-of-school youth, COVID-19 prevention supplies support, and a project to grow plants of love since 2019.
