Productivity Headquarters Supports Corporate Adoption of Remote Work System
Recruitment of Companies for Comprehensive Remote Work Consulting Hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Productivity Center (KPC, Chairman An Wanki) announced on the 28th that it will support the introduction and establishment of telecommuting systems for small and medium-sized enterprises as the operating agency for the '2021 Comprehensive Telecommuting Consulting (hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor).' Companies wishing to participate in the project can apply until June 4.
The comprehensive telecommuting consulting project supports workplaces that have not yet introduced telecommuting or are experiencing difficulties due to lack of experience, helping telecommuting systems to be established within companies. The Ministry of Employment and Labor supported the successful establishment of telecommuting systems in 212 companies across various industries in 2020, including ▲Manufacturing (49 companies) ▲Information and Communication (48 companies) ▲Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (39 companies) ▲Wholesale and Retail Trade (24 companies) ▲Business Facilities Management, Business Support and Rental Services (10 companies) ▲Others (42 companies).
The Korea Productivity Center was selected again this year as the operating agency for comprehensive telecommuting consulting, following last year. After closing the first round of applications in March, the second round is currently underway in April, and the third round is planned from May 3 to June 4.
Selected companies will receive free support for all aspects of establishing telecommuting systems, from identifying suitable telecommuting tasks to personnel and labor management systems and IT infrastructure development. Consulting will be tailored to company needs over a total of 12 weeks, considering factors such as telecommuting operational experience, level of infrastructure development, industry characteristics, suitability of tasks, acceptance between labor and management, and personnel and labor conditions.
