According to the city on the 27th, the Seobu Disabled Welfare Center is being constructed at 298-9 Daecheong-dong, with one basement floor and two above-ground floors, covering a total area of 4,608㎡, with a project budget of 13.4 billion KRW funded by national and provincial subsidies.
The facility combines a welfare center for the disabled and a vocational rehabilitation facility for disabled persons in one location, enhancing convenience for users and achieving budget savings.
The comprehensive welfare center includes classrooms, sensory integration rooms, fitness rooms, program rooms, an auditorium, and a cafeteria, providing comprehensive services to improve convenience for disabled individuals.
The disabled workers' workplace includes main workrooms, group activity rooms, and rehabilitation counseling rooms, offering employment opportunities to disabled persons with vocational skills and paying minimum wage, serving as a stepping stone toward a competitive job market.
