[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] On the 26th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Foundation announced that they will hold the 'Seoul-style New Normal MICE Content Development Contest' targeting tourism and MICE-related companies based in Seoul with creative business ideas to lead the newly changing MICE market after COVID-19.
The contest categories reflect the new MICE trends in the post-COVID era and include three fields: ▲ MICE content utilizing non-face-to-face technology ▲ MICE content utilizing various unique venues in Seoul ▲ sustainable Seoul MICE tourism programs. A total of 10 companies will be selected.
Selected companies will receive up to 20 million KRW in support funds and various programs such as online and offline promotional marketing to help realize their business ideas.
Eligibility requirements have been lowered so that any tourism or MICE-related company based in Seoul that has been operating for more than six months can apply, and mutual partnerships and collaborations between companies are also allowed to expect convergence synergy.
