The consulting was held for career experience coordinators of career experience support centers from 22 city and county education support offices. Lee Min-wook, director of the Career Experience and Content Center at the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training, gave a lecture on the necessity and direction of organizing level-based career experience programs.
The Provincial Office of Education plans to supplement the programs operated by the Career Experience Centers and organize them into experience events by school level?elementary, middle, and high school?to support substantial experience activities that consider students’ aptitudes.
The leading office for level-based career experience programs is the Mokpo Education Support Office. The main contents combined schools and experience sites through the ‘Kkumgil’ program, subdivided into six areas: ▲on-site job experience ▲job practical experience ▲field trips ▲department experience ▲career camps ▲lecture and dialogue types.
