10th Bosung World Tea Expo Pre-Event 'Sold-Out Relay' Begins to Ensure Success
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Cheol-woo) announced on the 22nd that it will be the first local government to establish a live commerce platform and will offer up to 50% discounts on Boseong green tea and local agricultural and specialty products from the 24th through August.
Boseong-gun's challenge to hold monthly live commerce special exhibitions and completely sell out representative local agricultural and specialty products is drawing attention.
The county has created an opportunity to promote the 10th Boseong World Tea Expo next year and to enable local farmers and small business owners, who have faced difficulties securing sales channels due to COVID-19, to sell their products nationwide online.
The Boseong live commerce platform will open on the 24th, and local farmers will conduct live broadcasts every fourth Saturday of the month from 3 PM to 5 PM.
Purchases will be available until Sunday evening, and the live broadcasts will be simultaneously streamed on Naver Shopping Live and the Boseong World Tea Expo YouTube channel.
On the Boseong live commerce platform, master tea makers from the country’s top tea farms?Mongjungsan Dawon, Wondang Jeda, Cheongwoo Dawon, and Yeonwoo Jeda?will offer freshly made tea using handmade methods at discounts of up to 30%, while other tea products and local agricultural and specialty products will be available at prices up to 50% lower.
Purchase events are also prepared.
During the live shopping Boseong special broadcast on the 24th, customers who purchase more than 200,000 KRW worth of Boseong fresh tea within the broadcast time will receive a premium teapot set worth 80,000 KRW, and the first 600 customers will be given green tea experience coupons worth 15,000 KRW.
