Shinhan Card and Mastercard Wrap T'way Airplane with Advertising
T'way Airlines to Conduct Operations on a Total of 3 Aircraft Over the Next Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Shinhan Card is introducing aircraft wrapping advertisements for the first time in the domestic card industry.
Shinhan Card announced on the 22nd that it will carry out aircraft wrapping advertisements featuring the 'Pangwin' character. This aircraft wrapping advertisement is the first case attempted in the domestic card industry and was planned jointly with Mastercard.
Shinhan Card plans to wrap a total of three T'way Air aircraft with illustrations of the cute and friendly Pangwin character in a travel concept. Wrapping will be applied not only to the exterior of the aircraft but also inside, including seat tray tables. Through in-flight tray table advertisements, the brand will be exposed one-on-one throughout the flight, and characters will also be attached to the airplane windows to encourage voluntary viral marketing through photos taken outside the windows. The wrapping advertisement will run for one year from the launch date.
