[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Junho] Namyang Dairy Products announced on the 20th that it has not been confirmed that it received a two-month business suspension order for its Sejong factory from Sejong City, contrary to media reports.
The company stated, "On the 16th, we received a prior notice from Sejong Special Self-Governing City pursuant to Article 8, Paragraph 1, Items 1, 4, and 5 of the Act on Labeling and Advertising of Foods, etc. (prohibition of unfair labeling or advertising acts)." It added, "If the administrative disposition is confirmed, we will disclose it again on the date the reason occurs."
