LG Uplus Eases Hiring Difficulties for Small and Medium Agency Staff
Agency Staff Recruitment Site Opened
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] LG Uplus announced on the 18th that it has launched a recruitment site to support agencies struggling with employee hiring.
The 'Agency Employee Recruitment Site' serves as a channel to help small business agencies more easily secure talented personnel. Agency representatives register their information on the site, post job openings when hiring is needed, receive applications from job seekers, and hire employees accordingly.
The agency employee recruitment site was opened in 2017, but due to its unintuitive layout and accessibility issues, it did not attract many job seekers. Considering this, LG Uplus has completely revamped the recruitment site.
The functions and design have been significantly improved. Accessibility for job seekers has been enhanced through a mobile version. Job postings can be searched by region, and if job seekers register their resumes on the recruitment site, agencies can contact them directly. A notification service is also provided to immediately check job postings from agencies seeking employment.
To ensure the agency employee recruitment site secures competitiveness as a job search platform, useful information will also be provided to job seekers. LG Uplus plans to post detailed information to guide applicants, interview videos of employees, tips from senior staff on how to get hired, daily routines, vision, and organizational culture in a Q&A format.
This is expected to reduce the burden agencies face in hiring. According to LG Uplus's own analysis, frontline agencies struggle to secure talent due to frequent employee turnover. Many agencies regularly use external job search sites to hire employees, incurring significant time and cost burdens.
Going forward, LG Uplus plans to increase the utilization of the employee recruitment site by providing agency representatives with easy-to-understand guidance on its purpose, background, and usage, and by introducing the recruitment site through official blogs and social networking services (SNS) channels.
