Woori Card Launches 'GS Caltex Cargo Welfare Card'... "Up to 110 KRW Discount on Fuel Purchases"
Up to 110 KRW Discount on Diesel Refueling at GS Caltex Nationwide Cargo-Specialized Gas Stations
5% Discount at Large Discount Stores, 25% at Coffee Shops
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Woori Card announced on the 16th that it has launched the 'GS Caltex Cargo Welfare Card,' which offers fuel cost support and driver-specific benefits for freight transport operators.
This card provides industry-leading fuel discounts of up to 110 KRW per liter, easing the fuel cost burden for truck drivers. When refueling diesel at GS Caltex cargo-specialized gas stations nationwide, users receive a basic discount of 30 KRW per liter regardless of the previous month's usage. Additionally, depending on the previous month's usage, an extra discount of up to 80 KRW per liter is available.
The card also includes a 5% discount at large discount stores such as E-mart, Lotte Mart, and Homeplus, as well as at medical clinics (including Korean medicine clinics), bookstores, and online education sectors. Coffee specialty stores like Starbucks, Coffee Bean, and Twosome Place offer a 25% discount. It also provides a VAT refund support service that automatically categorizes card usage into VAT refundable and non-refundable expenses, making VAT filing more convenient.
A Woori Card representative said, "We expect customer convenience to improve through this business partnership with GS Caltex. We focused on the most needed fuel discount benefits for truck owners and added customized services tailored to their lifestyle, so we ask for your great support."
