View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Market Kurly announced on the 15th that it has signed a business agreement to expand sales channels for products from Gyeongsangbuk-do and will support the online sales of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and agricultural, livestock, and marine products from Gyeongsangbuk-do.
Through this agreement, Market Kurly will support the entry of Gyeongsangbuk-do SMEs and agricultural, livestock, and marine products into Market Kurly and cooperate on marketing and promotional activities to increase sales. Gyeongsangbuk-do will support quality control of local products to meet Market Kurly’s entry standards, which include about 70 criteria.
Currently, 24 partners from Gyeongsangbuk-do, including those offering kimchi, makchang, processed meat, dried seafood, and processed ginseng products, are listed on Market Kurly, achieving total sales of 9.3 billion KRW last year. Market Kurly’s private brand products, Everybean Coffee Mix and Delight Cider, are also manufactured in Gyeongsangbuk-do.
Market Kurly will hold a sale festa featuring Gyeongsangbuk-do products from the 22nd to the 28th. The event will introduce excellent products manufactured and produced in Gyeongsangbuk-do, including agricultural, marine, processed foods, and daily necessities, and offer discount benefits.

Meanwhile, Market Kurly is preparing various measures to coexist with small business owners and local merchants who are struggling due to COVID-19. In February, it signed a business agreement with Gangwon-do to support farmers, selling out 12,000 boxes of flowers within a week.
