ESPN stated, "The PGA Tour does not mandate vaccination," but added, "This measure is expected to encourage players and caddies to get vaccinated." Currently, the PGA Tour conducts COVID-19 testing for players, caddies, coaches, trainers, agents, and all personnel entering tournament venues. Additionally, players who did not participate in the previous week's tournament must get tested at home before departure. "If all players are vaccinated, these procedures will be eliminated," the statement added.
