[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Innocean Worldwide announced on the 14th that Norangtongdak's recently released new advertising campaign is gaining attention and delivering strong advertising results.
The 'New Menu Spicy Pepper Chicken' episode of Norangtongdak, which started on the 1st, surpassed 1.5 million views on YouTube within two weeks of its release. Innocean attributed the ad's popularity largely to the cheerful appearances of actor Ma Dong-seok, known as 'Mablli,' and Norangtongdak's mascot 'Norang-i,' along with the addictive CM song.
An Innocean representative explained, "As the delivery market has grown further due to COVID-19 and various new brands have emerged, creating a nationwide chicken spring and autumn period, we focused on delivering Norangtongdak's unique brand message of 'good and delicious' chicken fried in a salt-free cauldron to consumers."
Riding on the popularity of the new campaign, Norangtongdak's sales are also showing growth. As of the 11th, Norangtongdak's April sales increased by 20% compared to the previous month. The official website's visitor count also jumped more than fourfold.
