Cases 2245 and 2246 were classified as contacts related to case 1894 in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
They are known to have had direct contact, such as dining together, with Gwangju case 2236, who was confirmed positive on the 11th.
Songpa case 1894 was confirmed positive on the 11th and was confirmed to have visited Gwangju on the 2nd and 3rd.
So far, the number of confirmed cases related to Songpa case 1894 in the Gwangju area has increased to 11.
Case 2247 was confirmed positive through a test conducted after exhibiting suspected COVID-19 symptoms. The route of infection has not yet been identified.
