The sewage relay pump station is a facility equipped with pumps and other equipment that transport domestic sewage from each household to public sewage treatment facilities. The Mang-gyeong relay pump station was installed and has been operating since 1994 to transfer sewage from the Sinan, Pyeonggeo, Panmun, and Sangbong district intercepting sewers.
