Public Procurement Service to Fully Disclose Competitive Information in MAS Phase 2 Starting Next Month
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Public Procurement Service (PPS) will disclose the progress and results of the second-stage competition process of the Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) starting next month.
On the 9th, the PPS announced that it will disclose MAS second-stage competition information externally to ensure transparency and fairness in the competition process.
The information to be disclosed includes the purchase item name, purchasing agency, purchased goods, participating company names, and the results of the selection of delivery recipients through the second-stage competition.
Each piece of information will be disclosed through the PPS comprehensive shopping mall starting from the second week of next month after the development of a query function and mock tests.
The MAS second-stage competition is a system that selects delivery recipients by comparing prices and quality among five or more companies when purchasing MAS products registered on the PPS comprehensive shopping mall for 50 million KRW or more (100 million KRW for products competing among small and medium enterprises and products from small manufacturing companies).
Until now, MAS second-stage competition information has only been disclosed to MAS contract companies and purchasing agencies.
