GS Shop Introduces 100% Recyclable Paper Packaging Materials
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] GS Shop announced on the 9th that it will introduce eco-friendly packaging materials that are 100% recyclable. The first product to apply this packaging will be the Adidas NEW Black Edition Drawers, which will be broadcast on the 10th.
This packaging was created through collaboration between GS Shop and its partners from the product planning stage. Instead of using non-woven fabric and polyvinyl previously used in packaging, it is made entirely of paper, and it is characterized by being recyclable as storage and organizing boxes in the future.
GS Shop aims to reduce about 3 tons of polyvinyl waste and about 1.4 tons of non-woven fabric waste by using this paper packaging, and it is expected that the packaging production cost will also decrease by about 10%.
