Establishment of Central Cultural Heritage Care Center and Preparation of Evaluation Procedures for Regional Cultural Heritage Care Centers
On the 6th, the Cultural Heritage Administration announced that it has established the Enforcement Decree of the Cultural Heritage Protection Act to secure the basis for promoting a comprehensive policy for the cultural heritage care project. The decree includes designating regional cultural heritage care centers by area and establishing a central cultural heritage care center as a hub. In line with the promulgation of the revised Cultural Heritage Protection Act on June 9, it plans to include evaluations of regional cultural heritage care centers and detailed evaluation procedures.

The cultural heritage care project involves regular inspections of cultural heritage, repairing minor damages, reducing the burden of post-maintenance, and extending maintenance cycles through continuous and preventive cultural heritage management activities. The Cultural Heritage Administration stated, "We will preserve and manage cultural heritage more systematically and stably to contribute to improving the public's cultural heritage viewing environment."
