Kakao Commerce Reports Operating Profit of 159.5 Billion KRW Last Year, Up 110% Year-on-Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Kakao Commerce, Kakao's shopping business specialized subsidiary, announced through its audit report on the 5th that it recorded sales of 573.5 billion KRW and operating profit of 159.5 billion KRW last year.
This represents an increase of 94% in sales and 110% in operating profit compared to 296.1 billion KRW in sales and 75.7 billion KRW in operating profit in 2019, respectively.
Kakao Commerce is a subsidiary of Kakao responsible for the shopping sector, including 'KakaoTalk Gift' and 'KakaoTalk Store.'
