Shinbo Partners with National Tax Service to Offer Guarantee Benefits to 'Model Taxpaying Companies'
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT) announced on the 5th that it has signed a "Business Agreement for Preferential Treatment of Model Taxpayers and Support for Economic Revitalization" together with the National Tax Service (NTS).
This agreement was established to build a financial support cooperation system between KODIT and the NTS to discover and support exemplary taxpayer companies with excellent morality and innovative capabilities.
According to the agreement, the NTS will recommend about 500 exemplary taxpayer companies annually to KODIT, and KODIT plans to provide preferential support for the recommended companies by offering a guarantee ratio of up to 90% and a reduced guarantee fee of 0.2%.

A KODIT official stated, "This agreement was prepared to respond to the government's inclusive financial policy and to provide practical support measures that exemplary taxpayer companies can feel," adding, "We will continue to fulfill our role as a policy financial institution to discover and nurture companies with excellent morality and innovative capabilities in line with government policies."
