Gyeongbuk Province Recruiting Participants for Youth 'Meeting Support'... Club Activities Starting in May
Recruiting 54 Participants Starting from the 5th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Gyeongsangbuk-do announced on the 5th that it is recruiting participants for the first half of the Youth Men and Women Meeting Support (Club) project in cooperation with the Daegu-Gyeongbuk branch of the Korea Population, Health and Welfare Association until the 23rd.
This year, club activities will be conducted in two sessions: the first half and the second half. Applications for the second half club activities are scheduled for August, and the club activities are planned to start in September.
Gyeongbuk Province will offer programs such as bowling, cooking, leather crafts, and woodworking classes for unmarried men and women of marriageable age from the 8th to the 22nd of next month. Club activities will be held in four classes in Gyeongju City, Yeongju City, Chilgok County, and Yecheon County, with 12 to 16 participants in each class.
The participants must be unmarried men and women aged 25 to 39 who reside in Gyeongbuk Province or work within the province. The total number of recruits is 54.
Last year, due to COVID-19 measures, club activities were only conducted in the second half, resulting in fewer participants than this year. However, according to Gyeongbuk Province, the number of applicants was twice the originally planned number. At that time, 25 couples participated in club activities such as cooking classes, DIY workshops, sports, and craft beer workshops, resulting in 9 couples forming relationships.
