Early Voting Day 2... Cumulative Turnout Rate 16.82% as of 3 PM
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] On the last day of early voting for the April 7 by-elections, the voter turnout rate (as of 3 PM) was recorded at 16.82%.
According to the Election Commission, out of 12,161,624 registered voters who started early voting from 6 AM the previous day, 2,045,133 had voted by 3 PM.
For the Seoul mayoral election, 1,493,223 people participated, marking a turnout rate of 17.72%, while for the Busan mayoral election, 465,587 people voted, recording a turnout rate of 15.86%.
At the same time, the voter turnout rate during the 2020 21st general election was 21.95%.
