Samsung Card, First Domestic Card Company to Receive 'CIO 100 Awards'
Establishing a Real-Time Data-Based AI Marketing System
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Samsung Card announced on the 5th that it became the first domestic card company to receive the 'CIO (Chief Information Officer) 100 Awards' hosted by IDG, a global IT media and research organization.
The 'CIO 100 Awards' selects 100 global companies that have created high business value through IT technology as awardees.
Samsung Card received the 'CIO 100 Awards' for the first time among domestic card companies by establishing a real-time data-based artificial intelligence (AI) marketing system.
Samsung Card was highly evaluated by the judges for introducing a marketing technique that comprehensively reflects individual customers' situations, needs, and tendencies by analyzing customer data in real time using deep learning-based AI.
In September, Samsung Card, together with Samsung SDS, utilized the industry's first 'real-time data-based AI marketing system' to provide customers with an 'AI curation' service. AI curation is a service that recommends the most suitable services or benefits for each customer’s needs and situation based on real-time data through the Samsung Card website, app, chatbot, and more.
