Jeju 1-Day New Confirmed Cases 4... Cumulative 631 Cases
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters (Jeju) Reporter Park Chang-won] Four new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Jeju on the 1st.
According to Jeju Special Self-Governing Province on the 2nd, four people were diagnosed positive the previous day and were classified as Jeju cases 628 to 631.
Among these four, two had contact with confirmed cases in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, one was a contact of a Jeju confirmed case, and the remaining one was found to have entered Jeju from Gyeonggi-do.
Jeju cases 628 and 629 are both acquaintances who had contact with a Gangnam-gu confirmed case during their visit to Jeju.
Jeju case 628 met the Gangnam-gu confirmed case on the 26th of last month, and Jeju case 629 was in contact from the 26th to the 28th of last month.
Fifteen people related to these confirmed cases have been classified as contacts and are undergoing testing and quarantine.
So far, one has tested positive, four negative, and the remaining ten are still being tested.
Jeju case 630 was classified as a febrile person during the entry process and was confirmed positive after testing.
The group who entered Jeju with him the previous day has entered self-quarantine.
Jeju case 631 is a contact of a confirmed case in the province who had contact with the Gangnam-gu confirmed case.
He tested positive in a diagnostic test conducted the previous day.
