On the 2nd, Gyeongnam Province announced that it deployed two wildfire extinguishing helicopters to suppress the wildfire that broke out at 178-3, Mojon-ri, Daehap-myeon, Changnyeong-gun.
On the ground, about 50 personnel including four fire trucks, 30 public officials, and 20 specialized prevention and firefighting team members were urgently dispatched to the site.

The wildfire occurred around 12:54 PM and is presumed to have been caused by the burning of agricultural byproducts. The province stated that it plans to complete the extinguishing operation within today.
