NongHyup Bank Digital Finance Division Conducts Farm Work Assistance During Farming Season
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Lee Sang-rae, Vice President of the Digital Finance Division at NH Nonghyup Bank, and employees visited the 'Wipungdangdang Farm' located in Seokmun-myeon, Dangjin-si, Chungnam Province on the 1st and conducted volunteer work to assist with farm labor during the busy farming season, the bank announced on the 2nd.
'Wipungdangdang Farm' is a smart farm cucumber farm covering approximately 2,500 pyeong, operated by a young farmer who graduated from the Nonghyup Youth Farmer Officer School. The farm has been facing difficulties in securing workers due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
On that day, employees from NH Financial Group and NH Nonghyup Bank's Digital Finance Division worked hard assisting with cucumber leaf removal, cucumber sorting, and cleaning the surrounding environment.
