U+ Altteul Mobile Introduces Easy Authentication Service 'Naver 인증'
Replacing Existing Credit Cards and Public Certificates
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] U+ Alttel Mobile announced on the 2nd that it has introduced the industry's first simple authentication system, the 'Naver Authentication' service. Consumers will be able to easily subscribe to mobile communication services without needing a credit card in their name or a paid joint certificate.
Previously, online subscription to mobile communication services required identity verification through a credit card or joint certificate, causing inconvenience to customers. For credit cards, issuance was difficult for students, job seekers, soldiers, and low-credit individuals, while joint certificates involved complicated issuance procedures and costs.
To resolve these inconveniences, U+ Alttel Mobile is promoting the introduction of the Naver Authentication service. Now, with just a few clicks, identity verification can be completed, and personal information such as name, date of birth, mobile phone number, and email address stored in Naver can be automatically retrieved and filled in. Customers only need to manually enter essential information such as plan selection to complete the subscription process.
