Yangsan Agricultural Technology Center, First-Come-First-Served Recruitment for 'Balcony Garden Cultivation' Trainees
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] The Agricultural Technology Center of Yangsan City, Gyeongnam, announced on the 1st that it is recruiting participants for a veranda garden cultivation education program due to the increasing demand for education as urban residents show growing interest in veranda gardens.
The city's public urban farm (garden) rental, which has been operating since March, has recently seen high demand from citizens, closing registration with an average competition rate of 8.4:1.
Accordingly, the Urban Agriculture Team at the Agricultural Technology Center will operate the "Veranda Garden Cultivation" education program, where participants can grow and eat plants with their own hands.
The education will be held three times in total, every Monday from the 12th to the 26th. A total of 75 participants will be recruited, with 25 people per session.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from the 5th to the 8th by visiting the Agricultural Policy Division on the first floor of the Agricultural Technology Center in person, via fax, or email. Each person can only attend once for the same content, and the course fee is free.
