On the 1st, during a campaign rally in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, Oh said, "If I return to the Seoul city government, I will connect the Line 4 and Dongbuk Line at the underground intersection of Mia Sageori to create an underground plaza where people can transfer to Lotte Department Store, Hyundai Department Store, and others. I will definitely make it a landmark of Gangbuk."
At the rally, citizens holding placards that read "Please create the Mia Sageori Dongbuk Line underground plaza" joined the event.
Referring to himself as "the son of Seongbuk," Oh emphasized the development of Gangbuk. He spent his youth in Seongbuk-gu, and the university he attended is also located there. Oh said, "There are many things to do in Seongbuk-gu, but what did former Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon do all this time? I will accomplish everything once I am in office."
He then called out his pledges to citizens, including securing additional access points to the Internal Circulation Road and Northern Arterial Road, installing soundproof walls along the Internal Circulation Road in the Jeongneung area, expanding CCTV and unmanned parcel lockers in the one-room dormitory areas where university students live, and creating a cultural street by expanding and maintaining parking spaces along Seongbukcheon Stream. Oh promised, "I will increase the youth monthly rent support program from 5,000 to 50,000 people so that young people can worry less about housing costs."
Additionally, he made statements supporting redevelopment in Seongbuk-gu. He said, "In front of me are the members of the Jangwi 11 District union, and there are people who want redevelopment in Seongbuk District 2, but shouldn't we redevelop all from Seongbuk Districts 1 to 3?"
