No Illegal Filming Devices Found... Requests for Improvements Such as Wall Holes
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] The Gyeonggi Northern Police Agency announced on the 31st that "During the month of March, inspections were conducted on 87 public restrooms within 67 subway stations in northern Gyeonggi to check for the installation of illegal filming devices, and no illegal cameras were found."
The Gyeonggi Northern Subway Police Unit, together with Korail's 'Women Safety Inspection Team,' focused inspections on areas where illegal cameras could be installed, such as around restroom toilets, trash bins, and partition walls, using lens detectors and radio wave detectors.
Although no illegal cameras were found, vulnerabilities such as holes in partition walls were discovered, and improvement measures were requested from the facility managers.
