Boundary Determination of Land with Designated Boundaries and Submitted Opinions in Cadastral Resurveying
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 30th that on the 29th, it held a Boundary Determination Committee meeting at the small conference room of the county office to decide the boundaries of Hapcheon District 1 and three other districts in 2020, with eight committee members attending, including Chairman Judge Kang Young-seon of Geochang Branch.
This committee determined the boundaries set by cadastral resurvey measurements and the boundaries of lands with submitted opinions for a total of 352 parcels: 51 parcels (5,262㎡) around 595-4, Hapcheon-ri, Hapcheon-eup; 16 parcels (1,877㎡) around 774-8, Hapcheon-ri, Hapcheon-eup; 153 parcels (29,530㎡) around 705-6, Hapcheon-ri, Hapcheon-eup; and 132 parcels (100,992㎡) around 1263-1, Gaho-ri, Yongju-myeon.
The county plans to send the boundaries decided by the Boundary Determination Committee to landowners and stakeholders. Landowners who have objections to the boundary decision may file an objection within 60 days from the date they receive the notification. If no objection is filed, the boundaries will be finalized, adjustment payments settled, and new cadastral records created to complete the project.

Lee In-do, Director of the Administrative Welfare Bureau, stated, “Through this project, the burden of surveying costs for resolving land disputes and confirming boundaries for residents will be greatly reduced, which will significantly contribute to the advancement of the cadastral system and the credibility of cadastral records.” He also requested deeper interest and cooperation from related landowners for the ongoing cadastral resurvey projects in the future.
